Hello Everyone! Here is a photo taken at Sunrise in the Caucasus mountains. The photo is taken in a place which is called “bear cross pass” because it’s a high point between two massifs and this is where the bear crosses from one massif to another. I’ve encountered many wild animals in this trip or through the years, but I did not have the opportunity to see one. Nonetheless my friend the Azeri Shepperd had seen them many times. I was not extremely eager to see one, especially when one is sleeping in a little camper and live almost all the time outside! I loved this and its majestic mountains, wild rivers, fortified villages, atmospheric abandoned settlements, ancient shrines scattered on the slopes and minimal tourist infrastructure. The great thing is thatvthis place is tucked between more two more famous regions. What was very cool about this place (for me) was that I already visited and photographed those great massifs from the opposite side that the photo present. From the other side, there were no high point presenting all of them together. The massif presented on the photo is the Chaukhi Mountain. Cheers!
