Finding this Spotted Owlet nest was a challenge. High on the old cashew tree is this hidden circular cranny which the owlets have invaded and made their home. I had to climb an opposing branch to get this vantage view point. Despite all my efforts in making a stealthy and silent approach, they spotted me. The mother conveyed her severe displeasure with this aggressive piercing stare while the little one hid behind peeping. Interesting to note that the pupil dilation of each eye, varies independently depending on the exposure to light. The young one hiding behind her mother has it at f/1.4!
