Throat on Fire. by Afzal Karim
This fiery throated humming bird was captured in the hilly areas of Costa Rica called La Esperanza, El Guarco de Cartago. The altitude of that area was 6000ft above the sea level. These types of colorful birds are only available in the higher altitudes. The disadvantage of higher altitude is that it is always cloudy and rainy. When I took this photo the rain had stopped for a while and I was able to take a picture of this bird.
