Spring vibes (II) by Kingshuk Bose

Spring is synonymous with tulips in many places in the world — for sure in our neck of the woods. Last weekend we capped off Mother’s Day celebrations with a visit to the Wicked Tulips Flower Farm in Exeter, Rhode Island. Each year they cultivate acres of tulips of various forms and colors, that are a sight to behold. Unfortunately we went at the last hour of the annual exhibition — by then the tulips were approaching the end of their short life cycles. The photo presented here shows an area with rows of bright red tulips. I selected a shallow depth of field to focus on a couple of tulips at the front, with the rest appearing as bokeh. I wish my 500px friends a healthy and happy week ahead!
