‘Sublime Beauty’ by Afzal Karim
This Quetzal (female) captured in the hilly area of Costa Rica called La Esperanza, El Guarco de Cartago. The altitude of the area was approximately 7000 feet above the sea level. Most of the time this area covered by fog & cloud and it rains very often. Quetzal is very rare bird to see. The male Quetzals are more colorful and they have long tail but they are very shy. I waited hour after hour to capture the male in my camera but when male came he hid himself in the leafy branches.
