Paper Scissors Rock by Timothy Poulton
It’s incredible how fragile we are and how it doesn’t take much to send us all into a global panic and economic meltdown. As a species, we keep making the same mistakes over and over again out of pure gluttonous greed, and we’re all Responsible! It’s times like this I like to call on science and how every 600 million years this place we call home turns inside out as the Earth swallows its ocean to form new supercontinents or that every 300,000 years the magnetic poles flip-flop. There’s no doubt that Planet Earth is awe-inspiring, and although we have the potential to live in harmony with her and each other, we’ve chosen a destructive path. Over the last seven days, I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing its incredible beauty in New Zealand’s Aoraki National Park doing what I do best, capturing the mountains of the world!
