___ My second morning in Drei Zinnen Nature Park in the Dolomites I wanted to shot something else than Tre Cime di Lavaredo. I was lazy the day before and didn’t explore the location enough to find a composition for the sunrise. I just knew there are a couple of lakes near Rifugio Locatelli. So I woke up early long before the sunrise to have enough time to find my composition. I got to the lake (Laghi dei Piani) and spent almost 30 minutes trying different compositions. I found one and was waiting for the sun in the hope it would lit the scene as I imagined. But the light wasn’t developing as I expected. I had to change my plan and ended up with this absolutely different shot.
