Here an old ram succumbed to the elements alone on a cold, cracked plain atop this dried lakebed. An autumn storm passes by above. Sometimes there are moments, as a photographer, that must be captured for no other reason than being there at that moment and being witness to a subject which beckons that you tell a piece of its story. Here, a life returns to the Earth.
