A bush pilot once told me this was his favorite place in all of the Alaska coast, and there’s a guy who’s opinion I trust! I was up here scouting locations in a helicopter, a year later, with my 6 year-old son when I first laid eyes on it. Since then I have retuned every year. Thousand foot falls, mile-wide glaciers, more wildflowers than anywhere around, sunset light and ice caves. It’s the Alaska magic, and this valley probably doesn’t even see one other visitor per year on average! Was just me and @Sapnareddy for this shot.
