Through The Hole by David Alvarez Velicia

The Castro De Las Gaviotas is a well-known place in the photographic world of the Asturian coast (north of Spain), but what goes unnoticed is that right in front, at Playa de la Huelga, there is a small cave that allows us to frame it right through its opening creating a composition that, at least to me, seems very striking. The cave is very small and it’s difficult to work inside, the photo is also difficult due to the difference of light between the inside and outside, so in this case I used four shots at different exposures and combined them mixing HDR and exposure blending. El Castro De Las Gaviotas es un lugar bien conocido en el mundo fotográfico de la costa asturiana, pero lo que pasa más desapercibido es que justo en frente, en la Playa de la Huelga, hay una pequeña cueva que nos permite enmarcarlo justo por su abertura creando un encuadre que, por lo menos a mí, me parece muy llamativo. La cueva es muy pequeña y cuesta un poco manejarse dentro, además la foto es complicada debido a la diferencia de luz entre el interior y exterior, por lo que en este caso utilicé cuatro tomas a distintas exposiciones y las combiné mezclando HDR y exposure blending.
