Precariously Dreaming by Timothy Poulton

It’s so easy to feel depressed these days, all you have to do is pick up the newspaper, turn on the dreaded television or worst of all, check in on social media. I prefer to surround myself with positive, inspirational energy but with our new instaworld, it’s almost impossible. Inspiration can come from anywhere and anyone. Mine often comes from silent moments perched precariously on a ledge capturing some mountain peak around the world with adventure and a spiritual journey in my heart. Adventure allows us to consciously feed positivity into our souls. I have also found photography is therapeutic for coping with my adversities. It allows me to turn my anger, fear, and disappointments into inspiration for myself and my companions. It serves as stress relief when you try to turn negative into positive by finally expressing what you feel down deep inside. Every morning I repeat to myself that I’m worthy of happiness, creative enough to inspire and humble enough to make even the smallest of difference. I genuinely hope you can find a little inspiration in this eternally negative world.
