There is this constant cloud cover hovering over the island in the summer and it is rare to see the sun peeking out long enough during my entire trip . I hit the jackpot on the very last day when midnight sun finally dropped below the clouds and showed up over the horizon at 11:30pm ! Just you know, the sunset is 12 midnight and it never gets that much darker after that. I almost underestimate the power of water walking close to and behind this beautiful and powerful water fall. As I standing there setting the camera to a slow shutter speed, the water carried by the strong wind just smeared up lens and making the the camera dripping wet. I was a difficult shot to get all in under this type of condition. I have to adjust and learn on the spot.Fortunately, the sunset period lasted for hours so I have plenty time to try and adjust before the final moment. It was a very exciting and memorable night. Did I say there is no night ? 恒定的云层覆盖冰岛上，我的整个行程中很少看到太阳出现。 在最后一天午夜，时来运转，太阳在晚上11:30出现在地平线上时，我中了大奖！日落是午夜12点，即是日落之后天空也不会变得那么暗。
我几乎低估了在这美丽而强大的水的力量。 当我站在那里将像机设置为慢门时，强风携带的水吹花了镜头而整个相机基本暴露在倾盆大雨那么湿透。幸运的是，整个日落期持续了几个小时，所以我有足够的时间在最后一刻之前尝试调整我的拍摄 最终完美的扑捉到最神奇的那一刻。一个非常令人兴奋和难忘的夜晚。 其实根本就没有夜晚呢。
