Last Sunrays in a Mexican Desert by Luis Lyons

After more than 2 years of being in this place, I was doing a review of my portfolio and I found that there is an evolution between my first published images and the most recent, which 2 years ago seemed good to me, today I see it awful, thanks to the images, comments, compliments and criticisms of others, tutorials and blog of this site, personal research, a lot of practice and a cured severe ‘burnt color syndrome’, I have managed to place my images published among the first 20 and sometimes in the first 10 on the pulse of 500px, I put as an example this image published more than 2 years ago, reading again the comments, I found one of someone who said that he liked the composition but he saw a little strange light in the left part of the image, I think he was kind in his comment, now I see the image and the whole edition seems terrible, when I saw the name of the author of the comment I decided to redo the image again, because at that time, 2 years ago, I didn’t know WHO is MAX RIVE, and, if Max Rive thinks that the composition is good, it means that a new remake is a must, so, I present this image again with a new post-production and I have to say that Max Rive was right, I included this image in a series that I entered in an international contest and was awarded with the third place of the Fine Art Photography Awards, (an international British contest) in the panoramic category, so I have to say thanks to Max and many others who with their inspiring images, examples, comments, criticisms and likes have influenced my photographic evolution.
