250 Years by Herman van den Berge

One of the most remarkable trees in The Mast Forest, the old beech. Unfortenately it was cut down late 2017 after it was attacked by the giant mushroom. The process was unstoppable and after a respectable 250 years (approx.) it’s life came to an end. I’m happy I was still able to take this shot but I’m also left with a sad feeling about this iconic tree now that it’s gone forever….
