The rarity of these images resembles the rarity of those moments when everything seems to be in a state of equilibrium inside us, light, serene and soothed. We constantly strive to find this state, not only on the inside but also on the outside, and scenes like these are essential food for the soul. Image shot in the unforgettable Braies Lake in the Dolomites Mountains (Italy). Quite a different aesthetic from what’s usual in photos of this place (mostly taken during the Summer), as I shot it during November, creating high contrast areas between the snow and the mountain textures, as well as between the green pine trees and golden larches.
