New Zealand A remarkable dawn unfolded on our last morning visiting the Aoraki National Park region. I shot this image because I love shooting. Keeping it simple for myself these days – Doesn’t matter if other people have shot it
– Doesn’t matter if it isn’t ‘original’
– Doesn’t matter if its an ultrawide image
– Doesn’t have to make money for me
– Doesn’t have to be technically perfect
– Doesn’t have to have innate artistic value
– Doesn’t have to make an environmental statement If it fulfills any of the above , it’s a bonus. Otherwise, I’m no longer kidding myself, I’m doing this largely for me as my therapy, to remind me of the wonderful moments I’ve experienced when times are mundane and not so free. I hope some of that frees others when they view our images as well.
