Well, there are some white puffy things floating in the sky that I haven’t seen in some time. They aren’t fires, and I imagine there probably isn’t much power in them yet, but soon enough we will have our first monsoon storms of the summer. This weekend is supposed to be the first taste of this years storm action, and as it seems like I always do, I’ll miss the action while being back on the east coast visiting family. It will be a pleasant getaway, although, I am not sure I will find the hot and humid weather more comfortable than the dry heat here in the desert. I am hoping upon my return the storms are in full force so I can get out and do a little chasing and create some dramatic storm photographs this year. It’s still hot, so I felt the need to post this image of snow that had fallen on Christmas last year just outside of Phoenix. Who would of thought a white Christmas near Phoenix?
