Crater lake in Oregon was always a dream place to visit for me. Although to get to this vantage point was not that easy. Road was still closed for winter, so we needed to hike 6 km one way from parking lot. Then last km is crazy slippery with slopes going sharp to the lake. Luckily my Gitzo tripod had spikes! Waking up at 1 a.m. and hiking all the way here was definitely worth the show!
