The Path To The Sea by The Narratographer
Today, I decided to head out to see what the early morning had to offer. In hindsight, it wasn’t the best idea as I now have a stinking cold that simply won’t budge. However, I did come back with a trio of images that I am quite happy with.
However, the images as they appear here are not how they appeared at the time. When I arrived at Kimmeridge, the skies were quite bland and uninterested, with little in the way of colour or texture. But I snapped away, even though I didn’t particularly like what I saw before me. But when I got home, I was greeted to images of a place that cant have been the same as the one I was at this morning. Once again, the camera and filters have come to the rescue and proved even further that there is no real talent in taking images. I honestly did not spend much time thinking about what I was doing this morning. The composition was rushed, the technique was hackneyed and the filters I could barely be bothered with. But what I came away with was something I am actually quite happy with. But should I be proud of it? I don’t know. My only role really was to be there, the equipment took care of the rest. My camera is a much better photographer than I will ever be.
