(Attempt #4 , apologies!) This image was taken as the crescent moon rose at 4am last weekend , 4 hours after the milky way. I used Nisi’s natural night filter which gave excellent colour separation around the moon and cut out much of Barmera’s nearby light pollution. The cost being about 1 stop of light meaning that with my new Laowa F2.8 lens, I was shooting at iso6400 instead of 3200. My initial impression is that the night filter is excellent for setups that can tolerate bumps in iso to that degree but also good for cityscapes where low iso is more commonly used. The Laowa is also a great lens as you can see not a lot of coma in the stars at the edges wide open at F2.8. [The everlook action and other tutorials]
