All ideas have a beginning. I recall two years ago when I was first asked to walk the Arthurs. It was a moment of great excitement and in the year leading up, the preparations reached fever pitch. Then, fires happened in Tasmania and we had to change plan. Last week, we had the chance to finally enact that original plan and nature put on a show for us on this particular morning. Milky way, moonrise and impending sunrise over Lake Oberon, January 2017. Sometimes, the elements of nature all align such as on this evening when moon, stars and glow of the sun all illuminated one of the most amazing outlooks I have witnessed. This was all taken in the one shoot with the sky image at 6400 iso and the ground image at 1600 iso with a 5 minute exposure.
