Dawn’s Soft Glow by Lizzy Gadd

On such a soft pink morning
From deep sleep did I wake
To see cold glacier glowing The campervan I must forsake
To run with wild abandon
Across rock and ice carefree
To find a place to stand in
And take a freezing selfie
Light turns from pink to gold
Bringing day as sun won’t wait
Back I dash with feet so cold
Breakfast of chocolate I then ate. -Spontaneous poetry by yours truly
