The Red Rocks Of Kimmeridge by The Narratographer

There are a couple of clichéd images you can get at Kimmeridge. One, is looking out across the bay, where a strip of stone leads to a hill with a tower. The second, is of a stone jetty that dissolves into the sea. When I went to Kimmeridge last night with Matt, I wanted to get something I had never gotten there before.
So these are the results. There is a beautiful rock formation at the foot of the sea that at the right tide, collects water from the sea that sits in still pools and can cause some beautiful reflections. As Matt and I waited on the banks of the sea, it honestly did not look like the sky would offer any colour. Instead, it was a watery orange that didn’t look too good on camera. And then, just as the sun began to vanish behind a distant Portland, it erupted into a ball of flame.
