YouGov report identifies vinyl-lovers as middle-aged, music-obsessed introverts
A recent report by UK-based research firm YouGov has identified nostalgic, middle-aged introverts to be at the heart of the resurgence of vinyl record sales. Sales for vinyl records topped one million units last year, marking somewhat of a comeback, and according to the report, the majority of vinyl buyers are aged between 45 and 54, with 18 to 24-year-olds least likely to buy their albums on wax.
