A Max by Ole Henrik Skjelstad

Tvindefossen, just outside Voss. For some reason unknown to me I opted for a Max Rive in the harsh sunlight. Due to the spray from the raging waterfall I deduced that using a zoom lens would be a great idea, and since I do not own one of those practical interval timers I had my wife to push the camera release button (and wipe off spray which found its way to the filter despite the distance the zoom lens offered). Whenever the area in front of the waterfall was empty of tourists I sprinted to my position trying to strike a relatively intelligent pose which I hoped I could maintain for 0.5 secs, a pose which is a far cry from Max’ epic poses. A thumbs up and my wife pushed the button – a thumbs up from her and I sprinted back to view the resulting image. An algorithm that was repeated trice. The third was total failure since I found it wise to change position after I had given her my thumbs up, and hence I ended up as a blurred unidentifiable object. A Nisi 6 stop filter was used to slow down the exposure.
