Everything we are facing in life leads up to the vital moment at which you say to yourself, I must do this! I’ve come to understand why I’m obsessed with photography and the perpetual pursuit of light. My dreamlike state or trance is the ultimate escape and the euphoric feeling I get when nature reassures me of my existence is just too alluring. When I’m faced with my last breath at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, “I used everything life gave me.”
