Winter Triplets by Michael Bollino

The first of a handful of images I captured during a winter backpacking trip on Mount Rainier with Alex Noriega. I had dinner with him a few days before the trip and he showed me the forecast for the coming weekend. It was the perfect setup — a recent storm, which had dropped several feet of snow, would be clearing at sunset before another front would be moving over the area for sunrise. This promising forecast held firm and I managed to capture five or more portfolio images in the span of 24 hours. Easily the most productive trip I’ve had in years. I’ll try to release these images in quick succession to keep the flow going. Anyway, hope you enjoy the first release showing the storm clearing over the Tatoosh range. Website
