I was particularly intrigued by the strange low clouds and the fog which seems to have divided the sky into the night and day like an invisible membrane. What an incredible feast for the eyes!
This is a handheld panorama, assembled from 2 individual, single exposures, captured from the rooftop of the Shangri-La Hotel on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
The light was so amazing and the contrast was well controlled, so I didn’t feel it was needed to work on the Dynamic Image Blending or any other advanced post-processing technique, other than colour grading. I used the ever-reliable Canon 5D MK III and Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L Tilt-Shift Lens lens. Processed with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Nik Software on a custom built, Windows 10 powered PC. As usual, I worked on the Wacom Intuos Pro pressure sensitive tablet.
