Last one I’ll post here for a while folks, as I’ll be busy for the next several weeks. This one is going back a long time, back to a different style of photography than I’ve presented recently, back to a place I remember fondly located on the least-visited north face of Mount Rainier. The location is well off trail and offers some of the very best flowers and views of the peak. I figured it would be a good one to share in February when we’re all pretty tired of winter (except for me). I made this image so long ago I knew little about processing color but have since reworked it. It was an amazing clearing through the fog after a day of clouds and rain, however, it was a challenge to do a shot without mosquitoes on the lens.
