I’m probably going to stir up a hornets nest saying this, but I’ve never been one to shy away from a little controversy. Let the people hate and anyone with a brain can chime in with some mature thoughts… Why do so many photographers feel the need to reinvent themselves? All I read these days are descriptions from togs saying “I really needed some time away from the camera as I felt like my fans weren’t getting the best from me” or “I’ve had some personal issues to deal with in life and just couldn’t bring myself to pick up the camera.” Firstly, let me just say, you’re only as good as your last image, and does anyone really care what you do in real life? I for one couldn’t give a toss and if I am a fan, I’m only interested in the epic shit you produce, so stop complaining, pick up the camera and do what you do best, taking pictures!!!!!! I don’t listen to Coldplay because they all of a sudden started writing hardcore techno or love going to Hurricane’s Grill to eat gluten free vegan food and I sure as shit didn’t start watching Baywatch so Pamela Anderson could start wearing clothes on the beach. Too much talk about what you can and cant do with photography, and my advice to these people; if you have a brand and formula that works, stick with it. The fans love you for what you produce, changing your style every second post just confuses them. Just some notes on the image above, captured with a raging hangover and processed in about 5 minutes.
