***Best Viewed on Black*** That moment when you wished for ice on Hooker Lake and you arrived to thissss. Way too much! Lol! Here’s something to cool down the hot hot hot weather in NZ right now. 😉 Hooker Lake, a 1.5 hour hike from the carpark. Level, easy! Ever since they stretched the walking planks and semi-paved the path, it’s like a walk in the park now. Definitely a must see and visit place when you plan you way through South Island. Accommodation no problemo, inside the park you can choose to stay in a hotel, lodge, hostel or even go camping! Saw this shot while re-organizing my photos. Taken last winter of 2013. Was a bit hesitant on processing it, I feel that there’s so much going-on in the foreground. Tho the longer I stare, the more interesting it gets hahaha! What do you think?
