Somewhere north of Lake Heron. After some overnight snow, the entire area around Lake Heron was a beautiful sight. There were moments of ridiculous indecision on my part before I finally opted to go north of the Lake as far as I could before a waterway stopped me. This scene was taken a short while before the previously posted pano from this spot featuring the tussocks. ( Not sure which I prefer but I like them both so here they are!) [Instructional Video]
