Celestial Bridge by Michael Goh
Celestial Bridge by Michael Goh
I’ve been pretty busy with work and other issues to be very active on 500px and other photo sharing places recently so I hope you’ll bear with me. Another trip to Lake Dumbleyung in Western Australia with the visit of my older brother to Perth. That’s him in the image using a Nikon d810 on his travel tripod. It’s the first time that I’ve worked on imaging the zodiacal light – the big triangle of light seen on the horizon heading towards the milky way. I don’t know if you can see them – but there are 3 satellites moving through the frame and 1 meteorite. Image is a panorama of 21 images in 2 tiers using Canon 6d and Tokina 11-16. Stitched together with PTGui, processed with lightroom, photoshop and topaz denoise. Some more info about the shoot on my webpage blog astrophotobear.com/astro-photography-zodiacal-light/ I tend to talk about other things a bit more on my FB page www.facebook.com/astrophotobear
