Biasevu Village is the base for a ‘waterfall tour’ . Really, it’s a simple 2km walk to the falls but I understand the local economy does need a boosting and the people along the trail are all super friendly. I did feel that I was being judged poorly as a photographer when I initially spoke to the villagers in charge though. They wanted to charge me extra for simply being a photographer. Perhaps there have been some who have behaved poorly or had expectations that social media exposure would win them favours and thus acted superior? For whatever reason, I felt perhaps this was an opportunity to remind myself not to walk around with an overinflated ego just because of the number of online followers I have . It also reminded me of the dangers of judging anyone without first speaking to them.

TUSCANY PHOTO TOURS | ICELAND PHOTO TOURS | LOFOTEN PHOTO TOURS | LAPLAND PHOTO TOURS | INSTAGRAM [ENG] Okay, after two colorful and “fragrant” shots made during summer, I couldn’t resist to return back to my beloved wintery landscapes!
Actually, even if the conditions are recalling winter more than all the other seasons, the shot is made during the first days of April of two years ago, so you are looking at the beginning of spring here guys! The location is one of those I care the most, since I learned how to photograph here (it’s near my home), the Baccio Lake, in the heart of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines! I came back in all seasons and in all possible weather conditions, but this beautiful mountain lake will never cease to amaze me and give me unique emotions every time.

[ITA] Okay, dopo due scatti belli colorati e “profumati” d’estate, non ho resistito a ritornare ai miei amati paesaggi invernali! In realtà, per quanto il lago mezzo ghiacciato e la neve ricordino molto più l’inverno che altre stagioni, lo scatto è stato fatto nei primi giorni di aprile di un paio d’anni fa, quindi eravamo all’inizio della primavera! 
La location in questione è una di quelle che ho più a cuore in quanto è dove ho imparato a fotografare (è vicino casa mia!), il lago Baccio, nel cuore dell’Appennino Tosco-Emiliano! Ci sono tornato in tutte le stagioni ed in tutte le condizioni possibili, ma questo bel laghetto di montagna non smetterà mai di stupirmi e regalarmi ogni volta emozioni uniche. Che ne dite di venire con me il prossimo anno a vivere queste emozioni? A visitare questi posti incredibili?
