In The Footsteps Of Van Gogh by The Narratographer

This is an old one I took back in 2009, when I had only just gotten into photography. At some point, I will get to write all about the holiday myself and my friend had there.

No promotion about tours, workshops or instructional video for 99¢ today, just a beautiful image from my favourite place on earth and a little message. Imagine if trees gave off Wifi signals, we would be planting so many trees and we’d probably save the planet too. Too bad they only produce the oxygen we breathe. #keelingcurve

The Mountain Sea by Marc Adamu...

The Mountain Sea by Marc Adamus

One of the windiest lakes on the continent one fine morning where we were lucky enough to enjoy spectacular conditions recently and get ourselves and cameras absolutely soaked trying to capture them. Leading one of my annual trips to Glacier park we took full advantage of the conditions! After spending 45 minutes racing up and down the shoreline helping folks get set up, just a foot or two from the crashing waves in 40-degree temperatures and 40mph wind in in the face I managed to snap off a few images with my camera set atop a rock which was there anyway. I didn’t even have time to get back to the bag for a tripod, and scrambled to put together this image which captured the moment. The image you see here is one single shot for everything except several areas in the surf that were hit by water spots and mixed. I had to wipe after every wave, every 2 seconds. We only lost one camera out of 7 of ours to the action. Thanks for looking. Dark background will look way better here. There might still be a few kinks to work out on the display of this image here as I just processed it earlier today.
