Its been so horrible weather and conditions lately here in Southern Finland, so i have been unable to do any photoshoots. Ive been working and editing with my older images. This image is a fresh and bit different version of my earlier “Winterland” image, with the Northern Lights. Created from 3 images with photoshop and lightroom.

Hot Spring Curves by Marc Adamus

High temperature springs steam through the cold early morning air. A few years now I’ve been coming here, looking for the right conditions. Snow on the peaks while the foreground is clear, sunrise light, a nice sky, below freezing temps that make the mist show up well, etc. This morning while with a group on my Eastern Sierra tour, it finally all came together. The next morning there was an all-out blizzard….. This is a SINGLE image file processed extensively from RAW and in PS. Exposure was 4 seconds at 45mm with a 4-stop ND on there. Thanks for looking.

In Harmony With The Sea by Elia Locardi

There’s just something magical about Le Cinque Terre that keeps me visiting again and again. I really don’t think there’s anywhere in the world quite like it, and with stunning views like this, it’s easy to understand why this region of Italy has captured the hearts of so many travelers like myself. I believe that it’s one of those places that every photographer should see and experience in their lifetime. Believe it or not, this photo has been sitting in my archives since May of 2014, and over all that time, I just couldn’t seem to find the right inspiration to begin the editing and blending process. This morning though, I woke up with a strong serge of inspiration due to the fact that I’m getting ready to make a exciting announcement on Monday and Riomaggiore plays a small role in it. Another interesting fact about this photo is that I specifically waited until May to shoot this composition in Riomaggiore. I knew that during that time of year, the sun would set exactly where I wanted it to be in the frame. The epic sunset and incoming swell on the other hand, well, that was just pure luck. 🙂 www.elialocardi.com

This photo I took from the other side of this beautiful brook. The light was just fantastic that morning.
