Legions of fans and musicians voiced shock Monday as David Bowie died at 69 following a secret battle with cancer, in a surprise final chapter for one of the most influential artists of his time. Brian Eno, who worked with Bowie on his legendary Berlin Trilogy of albums, said that Bowie sent him an email a week ago that was typical for its wordplay and invented names. "It ended with this sentence: 'Thank you for our good times, Brian.

Bowie prognosticated many things in his career, but his prediction of streaming music services was well before his time.

You can also find me in Instagram I am uploading a review over one of my favorite images on 500px. Some time ago i made 2 more versions, just based in some tonal changes. I liked both of them, so despite being a little bit repetitive i am uploading today this one and maybe some day the third one. I dedicate this one to one of the nice friends i have made here in 500px, Miguel Angel Martín Campos, alias Mr. Calamocha, who “blessed” my original image when i first uploaded one year and some ago.

Hoy subo esta revisión que hice hace un tiempo de una de mis imágenes favoritas. Hice un par de versiones de la misma usando únicamente algunos cambios tonales. Ambas me gustaron así que hoy, pese a ser un poco repetitivo, subo esta y quizás otro día suba la tercera 🙂 Aprovecho para dedicársela a Miguel Angel Martín Campos, alias Mr. Calamocha, quien poco después de subir la imagen original y antes de que me diera alguna que otra satisfacción, la “bendijo”.

This is a female ruby throated hummingbird in my yard, cloudy day creates great soft light on the subject, downside is that I had to lower the shutter and open the lens a little bit hence the shallow DoF.
