Missin’ the Rockies, Banff National Park by Patrick Marson Ong

What I really really miss now is waking up early in a toasty room, putting on layers of clothes, topping it off with my fluffy parka then jumping into my snow pants, a pair wool socks, tightening my bulky snow boots and on with those sharp cramp-ons. Doing all of that just to be able to brave the sub arctic temp, wade thru snow and walk over ice in search of that perfect moment. Might be too much? Naah, all worth it I say! This is Castle Mountain of Banff National Park where Bow river freezes over. Taken last winter of 2014. Wish I could beam myself over here! Cheers!
