Last week I visited Kinderdijk twice in the early morning. The first time it had been very cold and the canal was frozen. The second time the fog was so thick I could barely see the windmills the first hour. But after most of the fog had disappeared I was able to take this shot just before the sun would completely break through the clouds giving me too much hard light………………
