From this evening. Blend of three exposures. Sunstar shot at f/22. When the sun had more or less dipped behind the hill I shot two more exposures at f/11. One for the shadows and one for the sky. Blended with the help of luminosity masks. The title? A Mastodon song.

And the result is good enough for covers!

The Fossardalur valley and it’s waterfall Háifoss with a length of 122 meters. Definitely one of the best places I’ve visited during my trip to Iceland and the one I was looking forward for long time.
I’m really happy that I was able to capture this moment during perfect weather conditions.
