No doubts it was one of the best nights I’ve ever had in my life! Completely tired, we scratched ourselves from our beds and started to salar Uyuni.
It was hard to believe our eyes and senses. It seemed that we float in the open space. Our spaceship is parked in a distance, and stars are blinking with blue, red and yellow colors. You stand in the deep night with stars above you, aside from you and underneath! It’s space on Earth, isn’t it?

Morning has broken… by Björn Jönsson

I take this picture early in the morning at Folly Beach in South Carolina. I stayed for three nights in Charleston and Folly Beach is just 20 Minutes (11 Miles) away from this beautiful city. I had already visited the beach the day before, but the sky was overcast and the light wasn’t boring. Therefore I have started the next morning a second attempt. As you can see, the light was much better this time. The title for this picture is from an old Cat Stevens song.

The Man Behind the Opera House by Timothy Poulton

To celebrate the upcoming movie about this amazing building I’ve been going through some of my old sessions. On this morning with the Queen Mary slinging into Sydney we captured one of the most stunning sunrises I’ve ever witnessed. It amazes me that Jorn Utzon, the man behind the Opera House quit in 1966 and never returned to see his revolutionary concept as a finished building. With our election debacle, it doesn’t surprise me that bureaucracy gets in the way of creativity.
One of the most iconic buildings in the world and the tragic story of a genius robbed of his creation. All you round at sunrise the White Sails of Sydney come alive with it’s people and the day.
