Self-portrait from the summit of Mount Avens a couple of days ago.
On top, a small pile of rocks with a lone note that read “possible first ascent”. Whether I was the second or third or tenth to wander along the summit ridge is irrelevant. It just amazes me that we can still find those near-virgin summits around here, in a park considered to be “busy”.
It truly is a privilege in 2016 to stand where few have stood and gaze down at unnamed lakes and untrodden valleys. With a little luck I’ll be exploring and photographing this lake from its shores some time down the road…

Lumière de feu. Il y a des soirs où on sent que ça peut exploser dans tous les sens.
Je retraite donc quelques images de cette sortie au Conquet dans la plus belle lumière que j’ai pu photographier jusqu’à présent ! Il pleuvait, il y avait du soleil, des couleurs, de grosses vagues, des bateaux de pêche qui rentraient, j’en ai encore des frissons à m’en rappeler ! Je veux bien avoir du gris et de la pluie 9 fois sur 10 si la 10ème j’ai de nouveau cette lumière ! Vous allez vous dire, oui il bidouille ses photos, il sature à fond ben non même pas, c’est juste que seuls les moments où la lumière est dingue m’intéressent ces derniers mois ! Alors oui je fais d’autres images que dans ces conditions mais ce n’est pas ce que je préfère. Après il faut le dire, le phare de Kermorvan est très photogénique et ça aide en photo :). A new cable channel celebrating the original MTV will launch on Aug. 1, in honor of its 35th birthday, according to a press release. MTV Classic is replacing VH1 Classic at 6 a.m. that day, airing fan-favorite TV shows from its heyday along with classic music videos. Among the shows airing regularly on MTV Classic are animated comedies like Beavis & Butt-Head, Daria and Clone High, along with stylized action cartoon Aeon Flux.
