Starting on February 1, Globe Hall is getting a new owner. Cornelius is stepping down to spend more time with his wife and young son and selling the fourteen month business to Scott Campbell.

The first light Tyrifjorden, Norway, a cloudless morning. Sunstar is f22 plus an exposure to mask a spot of flare in the foreground – only a spot – otherwise, flare free. The exposures I worked with were more than two stops underexposed, but that didn’t turn out to be a problem with the Pentax.

By Gabriel Stargardter MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – At least five people, including foreigners, were killed and 15 were wounded early on Monday, when a gunman opened fire at a nightclub in Mexico's Playa del Carmen resort during the BPM electronic music festival. Quintana Roo State Attorney General Miguel Angel Pech said a Canadian, an Italian and a Mexican were among the dead, while the U.S. embassy in Mexico said authorities had confirmed the death of an American. Pech had earlier said a second Canadian and a Colombian had been killed in the attack.

American red squirrels are widely distributed across the North American continent. Their range includes most of Canada, the southern part of Alaska, coastal British Columbia, and the Rocky Mountains and boreal forests east to the Atlantic coast.[7][8] American red squirrels are abundant and not of conservation concern throughout much of their range. However, an isolated population of red squirrels in Arizona has experienced considerable declines in population size. In 1987, this portion of the population was listed as an endangered species.

This tree was found in the Death Valley where I traveled two years ago. It was an ordinary one literally found just off the road. Too bad I couldn’t explore further as I was with my family. I know I will be back there again.
