Greenlanders once used icebergs to distinguish the seasons and even to identify towns, a testament to their steadfast presence and to the intertwined character of Greenlandic culture with our country’s powerful nature. Media stress that the ice in Greenland is melting, and while this is absolutely true, as long as the Greenland Ice Sheet exists, icebergs of all sizes and shapes will fill these Arctic waters. shot from a moving zodiac boat

Feeling a Times by Samal Tofik
Feeling a Times by Samal Tofik
the lonely light in the forest This is a snap I made once in the (Bla) valley in south kurdistan. I had only seconds to compose, doing my long idea photographic , racing around with my camera and interpreting compositional options quickly. I soon came up with this perspective on things, putting the viewer in the forest. I controlled the image pretty much in one shot, although other exposures were mixed in for cleanliness of the shadows.
