GALLERIES AND WORKSHOPS: www.leonardopapera.com [ENG] Undoubtedly one of the most incredible locations of the Icelandic highlands, Landmannalaugar had decided not to “reveal” to me until my third visit there; I would say, however, that all the previous “vain” journeys have been rewarded by the spectacle that I’ve been lucky enough to witness! I knew that the moon would rise just above the horizon at sunset time, so when I saw that the sky was clearing up from the afternoon storms I decided to stay up there till late and wait to capture this otherworldly landscape. [ITA] Senza dubbio uno dei posti più incredibili delle highlands islandesi, Landmannalaugar non si è concesso ai miei occhi fino alla mia terza visita; direi comunque che tutti i precedenti viaggi “vani” sono stati ampiamente ricompensati dallo spettacolo che mi si è posto davanti! 
Sapevo che la luna sarebbe sorta in basso sull’orizzonte al tramonto, così quando ho visto che il cielo si stava ripulendo dai temporali del pomeriggio, mi sono messo l’anima in pace ed ho aspettato per catturare questo panorama incredibile.
