Over the Top by Ryan Dyar

After the first snow of the winter season in 2009, my buddy Sheldon and I were gifted with one of the craziest skies I’ve ever photographed over Mt. Hood. We saw like 5 different types of clouds that morning. Here you can see a lenticular cloud over the peak as well as mammatus clouds just starting to form in the left side of the sky. It was one for the books, as they say. But the only thing Sheldon and I were cheering about on that morning was the fact that we had invited our buddy Miles Morgan to join us and he declined. Well played, asshole. 😉
