GALLERIES AND WORKSHOPS: www.leonardopapera.com [ENG] Yes, I finally decided to visit the so famous Lagazuoi Hut in the Dolomites; enjoying the sunrise from the terrace of the refuge is something worth getting out of bed and going to -12 ° Celsius degrees, believe me.
From the first lights of the day, you could clearly tell that it was going to be a crystal clear day, typical of the cold season; with a bit of luck, however, small clouds sprouted in the distance, just above the Pelmo mountain, and with the help of a telephoto lens I managed to exclude most of the sky and give the impression of a fiery sunrise! [ITA] Ebbene si, mi sono deciso anche io a visitare l’ormai famoso Rifugio Lagazuoi; godersi l’alba dalla terrazza del rifugio è qualcosa per cui vale la pena alzarsi dal letto ed andare a -12° gradi, credetemi. Fin dalle prime luci del giorno, si prospettava una giornata limpida e tersa tipica della fredda stagione; fortunatamente però all’orizzonte spuntavano in lontananza delle piccole nuvolette, proprio sopra il Pelmo, e grazie all’utilizzo di un teleobiettivo sono riuscito ad escludere la maggior parte del cielo e dar l’impressione di un’alba infuocata!
