An open marshy alpine field in the dolomites. It was a simple scene but I loved the soft painterly light.

MADeira by Daniel Kordan
MADeira by Daniel Kordan
Patagonia? No way, this is MADeira! Another amazing hike under billion of stars above the ocean of clouds. Sounds like fairy tale? Yes. This island is magical indeed. Milky way just an hour before the sunrise at the high Madeira peaks. You can notice also the “cloudfall” – quite common phenomenon at Madeira when clouds fall from one valley into another like a waterfall. Vertical panorama of 2 horizontal shots made with 14-24 mm nikkor, 20 s each at iso 4000, f/2.8 + blue hour exposure for foreground at f/5 iso 400, 70 s.
