GALLERIES AND WORKSHOPS: www.leonardopapera.com A rather particular condition in which I found myself during a summer trip in the land of ice and fire: a dense morning fog enveloped both the Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon and the adjacent Breidamerkursandur beach.
Just when I had found a composition that satisfied me the fog started to rise and the light to pass through that thick white blanket: before this magical atmosphere completely disappeared, in a few minutes, I managed to snap some shots that convince me enough. This is one of them. Enjoy! [ITA] Una condizione piuttosto particolare in cui mi sono trovato durante un viaggio estivo nella terra del ghiaccio e del fuoco: una densa nebbia mattutina ha avvolto sia la laguna glaciale Jokulsarlon che la spiaggia adiacente Breidamerkursandur. Proprio nel momento in cui avevo trovato una composizione che mi soddisfacesse la nebbia ha iniziato a sollevarsi e la luce a trapassare quella fitta coltre bianca: prima che quest’atmosfera magica svanisse completamente, di lì a qualche minuto, sono riuscito a scattare qualche scatto che mi convince abbastanza. Questo è uno di quelli. Enjoy!

The day had been warm, calm and serene, but there was a kind of whisper that called out to me. Curiously, I decided to listen to what he was trying to say to me.
The night would come soon and, as my steps took me towards this little buzz, I started to understand what he was saying to me: “Barefoot, feel the grains of sand rubbing your salty skin by the dazzling sea and contemplate the heat of another ending day that is reflected in the rocks around you” So I did, next to two small rocks that, like me, contemplated those wonderful tones that the sunset gives us. And, looking at them, I thought, are they at the same time waiting for their sea to return waiting patiently in its small salt lake? Costa Vicentina, an unforgettable place!
