One of the lost mountains of the Patagonian fiords, as yet unnamed. These great peaks have been seen by only a handful of adventurers, often going years without a human footprint. The conditions deep in these isolated lands are always misty and damp and the summits can go many days without revealing themselves even after spending a week on boat, a day on small watercraft picking through icebegs and strong currents and 5 days backpacking to get here. Our team spent the night atop the ridge you see at right in this shot after a long day, surrounded by the rumble of glaciers and near the top of the one of the most beautiful forests I know of anywhere.

In a stressful world, where we have to run, be ready and, each time, faster and faster, I try every day, every opportunity I can, to go slower, to enjoy this place called earth! And when I do that, I can hear the waves coming and going softly, while the wonderful arched rock seeks to protect me from this stressful world, while the Milky Way shows me its beauty, the beauty of this planet !! And so, I feel cosy in this nook! In Albandeira Beach!

Still ill (The Smiths, 1984) by Björn Jönsson
Two weeks ago I actually wanted to visit London again. Flight and hotel were already booked. But unfortunately Covid19 had turned my plans upside down. London and the world are “still ill”. So we all have to wait for new magical journeys and there is no new photo I can present. But luckily I still have nice pictures from my last visit. Hope you like it anyway. And have a good one.

The Fryatt massif in the late afternoon on a trip a little north last autumn with my wife. We spent almost a month in Canada last year and I have maybe two images from show from it. But at least we had fun, she got me hooked on many podcasts, and we have more reason to go back when the sky stops falling. You can learn how I create my images at www.ryandyar.com 👍👍 Thank you for taking a look at this photo.

Second Life!
I already know the question.! What happened next ?! Well, It looks like time just ran out on him . He saw it a bit late and I thought it is over. But, but he pulled off a near miracle as his lightning bolt reflexes kicked in. In the nick of time he leapt to his right and it was too late for the eagle to alter the trajectory of its flight path. A near miss for both !. He is out there somewhere happily living his second life.! But this one frame is a silent thriller.!
